Terms & Conditions

Booking Terms and Conditions

A booking is only confirmed once Your Paella has received the agreed £200.00 non-refundable deposit.

Quotations remain valid for the period stated on your quotation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment Terms and Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of £200.00 is required to secure your event date.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than four (4) weeks before the event date.

Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date may result in Your Paella cancelling the booking.

Final Guest Numbers

Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than four (4) weeks before the event date.

Once confirmed, this number will be used for food preparation, staffing and final invoicing.

Additional guests requested after this date may not always be possible and will be subject to availability.

Cancellations

The booking deposit is non-refundable.

If the event is cancelled after the final balance has been paid, Your Paella will normally refund 50% of the balance paid, excluding the original £200.00 deposit.

This reflects the time spent preparing your event, administration, staffing commitments and ingredients that may already have been purchased.

Any refunds remain entirely at the discretion of Your Paella depending on the circumstances of the cancellation.

Venue Terms and Conditions

To ensure your event runs smoothly, the client is responsible for providing suitable access and facilities.

These include:

  • A level surface suitable for cooking equipment.
  • Access to clean drinking water.
  • A clear area measuring approximately 3m x 3m for our catering setup.
  • Adequate overhead clearance for our pop-up gazebo where required.

Where the Paella Cart cannot be safely positioned at the venue, Your Paella will provide our professional tripod cooking stands as an alternative at no additional cost.

Access & Parking

Clients must notify Your Paella in advance of any parking restrictions, loading limitations or access issues.

Our equipment is large and heavy, therefore suitable unloading access close to the cooking area is essential.

If safe and reasonable access cannot be provided, preventing us from delivering the agreed service, Your Paella reserves the right to cancel the booking. In these circumstances, payments already made may be retained to cover costs incurred.

Electricity

For evening events, access to one standard domestic electrical socket is required to power our lighting.

No additional electrical supply is required for cooking.

Indoor Catering

When catering indoors, cooking may occasionally activate smoke detection systems.

It is the responsibility of the venue or event organiser to ensure appropriate arrangements are made with the venue before the event.

Your Paella accepts no responsibility for interruptions caused by activated fire alarms.

Outdoor Events

Where required, Your Paella will provide a professional 3m x 3m pop-up gazebo.

Whilst every effort will be made to provide the agreed service, severe weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control may affect the safe operation of the event.

Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Your Paella offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menu options.

It is the client’s responsibility to notify us of any allergies or dietary requirements before final guest numbers are confirmed.

Whilst every reasonable care is taken during preparation and service, food is prepared in a working catering environment where allergens may be present.

Equipment & Property

Reasonable care is taken at all times whilst operating our equipment.

However, cooking involves heat, oils and food preparation.

Your Paella cannot accept responsibility for stains, spills or marks on surfaces surrounding the cooking area. It is the responsibility of the venue or client to ensure suitable protection is provided where necessary.

Photography

From time to time we may take photographs of our catering setup and food for use on our website and social media.

We will always respect the privacy of our customers and will never publish photographs that identify guests without permission.

If you prefer that no photographs are taken during your event, please let us know before the event date.

Force Majeure

Your Paella shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform its obligations where circumstances are beyond our reasonable control.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Severe weather
  • Road closures
  • Government restrictions
  • Fire
  • Flood
  • Industrial action
  • Illness
  • Other unforeseen events

Privacy

Any personal information supplied during the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

Your Paella reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version in force at the time your booking is confirmed will apply to your event.
